The annually repeated culture events include the Ingå Day celebration, the Artisans’ Day celebration, Sea and Music event and a variety of market events in the harbour. There are several museums in Ingå. The Barösund channel is one of the most popular water routes in Finland. Ingå Archipelago consists of hundreds of islands and skerries.

Attractions
- Saint Nicholas Church, a mediaeval greystone church with the oldest parts dating from the 13th century. The unique wall painting Death Dance depicts Death dancing with a human being. For information contact 09-221 9030.
- Degerby Igor Museum provides information about the so-called Porkkala Era from 1944 to 1956. During these years large areas of Degerby, Siuntio and Kirkkonummi were ceded to the former Soviet Union as a naval base. 040 541 8526, www.degerby.fi

- Fagervik manor and museum, founded in 1646. A unique ironworks milieu in a setting of great natural beauty. The first potatoes in Finland were planted at Fagervik. Contact 0400 673664.
