In Karijoki the traveller will meet the genuinely Finnish, scenic and untainted nature. Lake Peurajärvi has a very popular beach. The highest point in Karijoki is the 146 metres high Iso-Kakkori hill. In southwestern Karijoki, you will find the grand Paarmanninvuori with nearby skiing centre and jumping hill. The hiking trail from Parra in Teuva - Paarmanninvuori-hill - Susivuori-hill (Susiluola) runs through some enjoyable scenery. Karijoki is divided by a clean-water river. Here you should try your luck to catch a trout! The river is one of the most southern trout rivers in Finland.
