Kristinestad Kristiinankaupunki

|
Kristiinankaupunki was founded by Count Per Brahe on Koppö island in 1649. Although the appearance of the town centre has changed over the years, it still exudes the spirit of its centuries-old traditions in a unique manner.
From the top of Pyhävuori hill, the highest spot in the coastal region, there opens a spectacular panorama over the surrounding countryside and the sea. The Pyhävuori Leisure Centre is a harmonious combination of nature and culture. Its hiking trails, accomodation, catering and programme services, as well as the Susiluola exhibition presenting the most important prehistorial archeological site in Finland offer visitors a number of experiences.
