Multia is located in Central Finland, along the highway from Jyväskylä to Vaasa. Here you will find extraordinary harmony between the man-made environment and the nature. The central village of Multia is one of the most pleasantly built centres in Finland, because the nature and environment have been respected in all construction. A number of clear-watered springs offering refreshment for travellers have been signposted along the roads, and the visitor has plenty of opportunities to experience the pure nature, for example, by hiking. Some of the highest hills in Central Finland are located in Multia, e.g. Kiiskilänmäki (269m), The observation tower of Kiiskilänmäki hill, Tervavuori hill and the numerous sport fishing places such as Palsankoski, Kurenkoski and Riuttakoski rapids providing unforgettable opportunities to try one’s luck in fishing.
