RANUA - FAMOUS FOR CLOUDBERRIES
Being close to the Arctic Circle, Ranua is the gateway to Lapland. The countryside around Ranua with its wide primeval forests and marshlands offers a wide range of opportunities for outdoor activities.
In Ranua wildlife park, the northernmost in Finland, polar bears and other species of the arctic and northern coniferous zone live in the middle of unpolluted natural surroundings and in their natural habitat. The route through the park offers visitors plenty of interesting things to see with over 50 species and 200 individuals. Children enjoy playing in the Fairyland Park of Jussa and Nessi.
Wildlife Safaris is a safari enterprise with its base on the premises of Ranua Zoo.
