The Åboland Archipelago - The most beautiful of archipelagos

Base rock which is two milliard years old. The ancient route of Vikings and Hanseatic merchants. A landscape molded by moving ice and the hands of the inhabitants fighting the forces of nature. The dream of boaters, a paradise for tourists. The Åboland Archipelago.

You won’t even need a boat of your own to visit the Åboland Archipelago. You can travel on the Archipelago Ring Road going over bridges and on cable ferries. Or you may prefer Kemiönsaarin steeped in culture and history.

Where the road ends, ferries will take you to the outer archipelago. Ferries connect the archipelago with the mainland and sail from one island to the next.

Summer in the Åboland Archipelago is full of events.
